FINANCIAL POLICY
Thank you for entrusting our team with your dental care needs. We strive to have a relationship driven practice and have found that when finances are discussed clearly and openly before the start of any dental treatment, our relationship with our patients is stronger. The following options are available to fulfill your financial responsibility:
DENTAL INSURANCE:
It is important to understand that our primary concern is our relationship with our patients, not their insurance companies. As a courtesy, we will file your insurance claims at NO CHARGE. In our effort to work with you to maximize your dental benefits, we need the following accurate information: INSURANCE CARD, CONTRACT NUMBER, GROUP NUMBER, NAME OF THE INSURED PARTY ALONG WITH THEIR DATE OF BIRTH, EMPLOYER, AND SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER. Dr. Wood is a PREFERRED PROVIDER for the following insurance companies:
- BlueCross BlueShield
- MetLife
- Guardian
- United Concordia
- Delta Dental
Please be aware that the majority of insurance plans apply yearly deductibles, require co-payments, and do not cover certain services. These amounts are due on the DATE OF SERVICE. Our office will collect the amount the insurance is not estimated to cover. Please remember that these amounts are only an estimate. Any balance or credit on your account will be settled after receiving your insurance payment.
PAYMENT METHODS:
We accept CASH, PERSONAL CHECKS (with appropriate identification), VISA, MASTER CARD, and DISCOVER.
FINANCING OPTIONS
Financing options include up to 12 months no interest (for qualified patients) or longer term financing (interest accrues) through CARE CREDIT.
